Just a warning: This page is long =P It is likely to bore you - but hey ^_^
Well, let's see... I am a girl, I am English, I am fifteen years old and I'm fairly tall. I have
brown hair, blue eyes and very fair skin (I don't tan at all, I just burn =P). I have one brother and one sister, and loads of cousins! Eleven
cousins on my mum's side. I get on with them all really well.
…Where do I begin?! I love writing HTML webpages, and I'm very interested in computing stuff. For my computer, I bought all the pieces and then
put it all together with my Dad rather than just buying one! I've made several webpages to this day, and I'm still making plenty! I'm quite
into RPG Maker (more on that in a minute) and that has led me into getting interested in scripting (Ruby, mainly, but I'm pretty good at Visual
Basic if I say so myself… =P ) - but it's far more difficult than HTML =P
But hey, I'm learning ^_^ In fact, I've written a whole VB program (with Dad's help) to do something very handy - saves me a lot of time ^_^ Also, I've
managed to write a complete and working script in RGSS to do something useful on in my RPG Game.
I absolutely love drawing, and painting - I'd say that I'm quite artistic. My wall above my bed is filled with drawings that I've done, and
there's still more! As you will know from my Artwork page, my drawing doesn't just happen on paper. I use
computer software too! I love Art at school too - my art teacher was devistated when I told her that I couldn't do Art for GCSE, bless her…
And then there's the musical side of me. I really enjoy playing the piano and clarinet, and singing. At the moment, I passed my Grade 6 piano a while ago,
I passed my Grade 6 clarinet shortly after that and I have just passed Grade 5 singing. I also have Grade 5 in music theatre. I do
singing twice a week: I sing in Concert
Choir (I was the youngest member for quite a while and loved being the youngest for a change, but we've moved on now *Pout*) and I have my
lesson later on in the week. A couple of years back we did a production for the Brunel 200 celebrations going on around the place, and I took part in the
chorus of that. I absolutely loved performing in it, and I hope we'll do it again soon. I play my clarinet in the school orchestra and I love
that! I have performed solo in numerous concerts - and even on live radio for the local radio station!
I'm deeply interested in composing, and I've already composed and orchestrated more than one piece for the orchestra. I own two lots of Notation Software
on my PC - MidiNotate Composer and Sibelius, and use that a lot. I also notate pieces from the Pokémon Gameboy Games
(see the Links page for
more info on that, if I get round to putting a link up) and put them up for download.
My favourite sport would have to be Hockey, I suppose, but I don't really play outside of school or anything. I do like sport - but I don't have
time to do it! I really like athletics and I'm an okay sprinter, but I just cannot run under pressure - I always seem to get a bad start, but I
still love running round the field next to our house! Mind you, running is bad for your knees =P
My favourite event would probably be either Shot-put or Long Jump. I love cycling too,
especially with my Dad. I like swimming
For my out-of-school things, I have Japanese lessons and they're going well. I used to do a paperound on Thursdays but that got cancelled, so now I have a
Summer job, working for UniServity, where I do technical work - and of course I have my
piano lessons and singing activities. Most of my spare time is spent on the computer! Inside of school, my favourite subjects are as follows,
with the ones I like most first, and so on: Science, Drama & Music (joint second!) Maths, History, RS (Religious Studies), English, German,
P.E, French, and Geography. But it all depends on what topic we're doing, which teacher we have and what mood I'm in on that day. I happen to
be doing Drama and Music for my GCSE choices, along with German as my language and History as my humanities (it's rather boring =P ), and
all the compulsory subjects (but I'm doing triple Science rather than double ^_^)
I go to church on Sundays; I'm a Catholic, and I love my faith - but I respect all other religions as well.
I love Final Fantasy X! I have the Official Soundtrack and I can play a large selection of the pieces on the piano (including: To
Zanarkand (the first one I learnt to play!), Tidus' Theme, Victory Fanfare (it's great =P), Silence Before the Storm, Mi'ihen Highway, the Ending Theme
(it's so beautiful) and Suteki Da Ne - Orchestral Version) and the collection is still growing. After many years of loving this game to
bits and not having a console to play it on, my siblings and I got given a Playstation 2 for Christmas in 2006, so I can play it now ^_^ I also
have Klonoa 2: Lunatea's Veil, my favourite PS2 game of all time, which I completed literally within three days of getting it! I have just
been given Soulcalibur III for Christmas and I love it to pieces =)
I also own three handheld games consoles - a Gameboy Color (limited Pokémon Edition), a blue (and somewhat well-used) Gameboy Advance SP, which
I adore. I recently got a Nintendo DS Lite in black, which, since August 13th last year (2007), I've been playing Pokémon Diamond on.
I also have Pokémon Pearl as well, but I haven't started that yet. In Christmas 2007 I got given Zelda DS, which is such a fun game to play =D
I am very musical, as I said earlier on - in fact, I have a music collection on my computer which is 4 Gigabytes in size and growing rapidly! I
own many official game soundtracks - Final Fantasy X, Baten Kaitos, a few tracks from Baten Kaitos II, Chrono Cross, Klonoa 2: Lunatea's Veil,
Pokémon Ruby and Sapphire, Pokémon Diamond and Pearl, Fable: The Lost Chapters, and Soulcalibur III. Yes, there are Pokémon game soundtracks,
which I discovered recently - much to my utter delight =P It's hard to choose, but if I had to, I would probably say that Soul Calibur III would be
it - but it would have to be joint with Baten Kaitos, which I have recently got quite attached to P
But my music collection doesn't stop there - oh no =P I own soundtracks from films too - all of the Pirates of the Caribbean films,
Disney-Pixar Cars, Lion King I and II, Narnia (The Disney version of the Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe) and Disney Treasure Planet.
I love them all, but my favourite would have to be Treasure Planet - the only film that I ever cried at! (Yes, I am sad =P ) I also want
to get my hands on the soundtrack from Dreamworks' Sinbad, but I haven't got round to that yet.
PC Games… I have several games for my PC, I have Catz 5, Dogz 5, Babyz, Zoo Tycoon 1 and 2, The Sims 2 (with Pets, Nightlife and
Seasons expansion packs, soon to be Free Time, too), Fable: The Lost Chapters (I love that game ^_^) and RPG Maker XP, which I suppose you could
call a game. I recently acquired RPG Maker VX, the new RPG Maker, but I think that RPG Maker XP is much better. I'm working
on an RPG in RMXP called Crystal Moon (at the moment anyway - knowing my fickle nature I'll probably change the title several more times before I settle
on something. It was originally called Diamond Destiny…), but it's going fantastically well. I just wish that I could do Ruby Script better…
And finally, of course, I love writing stories - Pokémon Stories, mainly ^_^ But I also have a folder containing numerous unfinished story
works of all different types from throughout the years. I've always written stories - even at the age of about six, in a little exercise book.
How cute! My most successful story is 105 pages long to date, and it's still nowhere near finished =P
So then, my other favourite things… My favourite colours are the colours blue and turquoise and my favourite food is my dad's curry - yum! I like pasta,
bread and chocolate, too. In fact, I don't think that there is a food that I don't like! My
favourite number is three, my favourite PC game is Zoo Tycoon and I can't choose between the seasons; I love them all =P My favourite books are
Pure Dead Brilliant by Debi Gliori, the Fruits Basket manga novels by Natsuki Takaya, and Crystal Mask by Katherine Roberts (my all-time most
favourite book ever!) My favourite day of the week
is, naturally, Saturday, and my favourite animals are cats, then horses, then ducks (LoL! They're so cute =D). I like nearly all types of music (the only
ones I can't listen to are heavy metal and rap), but my favourite genre would be power pop - LoL! My favourite band is Semisonic. My favourite composers
are Hans Zimmer, Harry
Gregson-Williams and James Newton Howard. My favourite TV program is Red Dwarf, and
I also like House, Have I Got News For You and QI ^_^ My favourite cartoon is
Pokémon, of course - but I like other Anime, too. Cardcaptors was one of my most favourite Anime shows when I was little ^_^ I have seven favourite
films, as follows (in order of favourite first) Cars (don't laugh =P) and Treasure Planet are joint first, then The Lion, the Witch and
the Wardrobe (the newest Disney one),
Pirates of the Caribbean (I like the first two films, but the third was a huge disappointment; Disney could have done SO much better with it
*Is cross* =P - they can count as one) Cinderella Story, The , Howl's Moving Castle, and Spirited Away.
Hmm… my four favourite Pokémon are Espeon, Umbreon, Mareep and Lugia. I also like Kyogre, Vaporeon, Mightyena, Suicune and Absol, Latios and Latias,
Jirachi, Chimecho, and Wingull. My favourite generation of Pokémon is the third (RSE) but I am growing more attached to the fourth generation daily
=P I think my favourite Pokémon from 4th gen would have to be Leafeon, Infernape and Luxray. And (this is irrelevant, LoL) I like Team Magma, as you will see if you read my
Kyogre and Groudon Arise Pokémon Story! I honestly couldn't choose between my precious Pokémon games, but I've completed Pokémon
Sapphire and Crystal (soon to be Emerald, when I defeat the Pokémon League =P). I recently defeated the Pokémon League on Diamond, which was
the most suspenseful battle I've ever fought! I'm about half-way through Ruby…
